Enable Access-Based Enumeration on a Namespace - wightsupport - 07-07-2014 If you don't want all your users seeing all the shares on the server especially those that they do not have permission to access. This is done very simply by turning on access based enumeration for each DFS name space. Access for enumeration is not turned on by default and can be accessed via the Share and Storage Management. Be careful as this can place undue overhead on the CPU and slow done response times. This does not however, hide the visibility of shares using the unc path. |
