Dell (Broadcom Nics) & Slow Network in Hyper V - wightsupport - 07-08-2016 There is a known issue with older Dell Servers using the Broadcom NetXtreme 1Gb NICs. The simple solution is to disable VM Queues in the configuration properties of all the physical adapters assigned to the guests on the host, in the advanced tab. This solves the problem immediately. However, if you want VM Queues enabled then (see attached document), you will need to make a registry entry / change. On the Hyper-V host, open Regedit and drill down to HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\VMSMP\Parameters. Add a DWORD value called BelowTenGigVmqEnabled and give it a value of 1. Go back to the physical adapters on the Host and enable VM Queues. |
