Outlook 2016 - Search Not Working - wightsupport - 27-06-2017

In Outlook 2016 when you search you get the following message. 
 
"Something went wrong and the search couldn't be completed".
 
This is caused by COM Add Ins and they need to be disabled. 
 
To do that, close Outlook: Press “Start Key” + “R” (combine) >> type “outlook.exe /safe” (Without the quotes and note the space between exe and /)
 
If the application works fine safe mode, try disabling the add-Ins for the application and check the result,
1. Open "Microsoft Outlook" >> Click on "File" tab >> "Options" >> Click on "Add-Ins" (left pane) >> Go to "Manage: COM Add-ins" and click on "Go…"
2. A new window will appear named as "COM Add-ins", now uncheck the add-ins which are not in used right now and click on "OK" button.
