mrxsmb10.sys BSOD
#1
There have been issues with mrxsmb10.sys causing BSOD on Server 2008 R2 installs. From investigation, this appears to have been caused by SOPHOS. There is an article on the SOPHOS forums

https://www.sophos.com/en-us/support/kno...22573.aspx

In a nutshell it says

Ensure all Windows Updates are applied and the following Microsoft drivers are up to date (including hotfixes):

mrxsmb10.sys
mup.sys
rdbss.sys

Open the registry:
Access the following registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\mrxsmb\

Locate or Create a sub key called Parameters
Create a DWORD value called DisableShadowLoopback and set the Value data to 1.
Reboot the server
