There have been issues with mrxsmb10.sys causing BSOD on Server 2008 R2 installs. From investigation, this appears to have been caused by SOPHOS. There is an article on the SOPHOS forums
https://www.sophos.com/en-us/support/kno...22573.aspx
In a nutshell it says
Ensure all Windows Updates are applied and the following Microsoft drivers are up to date (including hotfixes):
mrxsmb10.sys
mup.sys
rdbss.sys
Open the registry:
Access the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\mrxsmb\
Locate or Create a sub key called Parameters
Create a DWORD value called DisableShadowLoopback and set the Value data to 1.
Reboot the server

Enable Access-Based Enumeration on a Namespace |

If you don't want all your users seeing all the shares on the server especially those that they do not have permission to access. This is done very simply by turning on access based enumeration for each DFS name space.
Access for enumeration is not turned on by default and can be accessed via the Share and Storage Management.
Be careful as this can place undue overhead on the CPU and slow done response times.
This does not however, hide the visibility of shares using the unc path.
