FMS contains a Financial Reporting Suite called FRS. Sometimes, when it runs, it loses both the .dll file and the database connection name / location. 

Close all Capita SIMS products and edit the sims.ini located in the C:\Windows directory to ensure that there is an entry Finance directory=C:\Program Files\SIMS\FMSSQL
