There is a known issue with WSUS where the console does not launch and has the message Reset Node. This issue is to do with memory allocation and is easily resolved.
Launch IIS > Application Pools > Right Click Wsuspool and select Advanced Settings. Scroll down to Recycle and set Private Memory Limit to 0.
Restart IIS
